Coming from the North
You can drive mainly on motorway with A28 through Normandy towards Rouen and Le Mans , and the you go through A85 motorway in direction of Nantes, that you must leave at Longué-Jumelles (18kms from the house) and take the road towards Saumur.
A fork on the right at the entrance of the town of Longué towards Vernantes. Then, 100 m after, turn left towards Vernantes on the bridge over the road to Saumur.
Continue this small road to Vernantes via Saint Philbert du peuple.
Arriving in Vernantes, you pass a baker shop and go straight in a one-way street that cross perpendicular to the road from Saumur to Noyant / Le Lude. Here turn to the left ant continue after about 300m (after the Pharmacy) turn right in direction of Vernoil.
Arrived at Vernoil-le-fourrier, after superu roundabout, continue straight on the road until the wer monument , then turn right in direction of the church.
There is a sign direction La Breille les pins , Brain sur Allonnes.
You pass a narrow street of pretty old houses between the church and the priory on the left and the village hall on the right, and the place du champ de foire opens on your right after the village hall. You see the number 3 on the wall and then the number 5, you are on the spot.
In Le Mans, there is a possibility to continue on A28 towards Tours and to leave on exit 26 Le Lude (then 40kms of two-way straight road towards Vaas, Le Lude, Noyant, Vernantes.) Shorter way, but Speed limitation 90km/h)
Coming from the West
Coming from Nantes or Angers from the road in the direction of Saumur or
by the paying motorway that you must leave at Longué-Jumelles and take the road towards Saumur.

Coming from Paris or the Paris region
Take the A11 motorway to Le Mans, Nantes direction and a little before Le Mans take the A28 motorway towards Tours.
Leave it at the exit “Le Lude, Chateau du Loir” (there are about forty kilometers) and on the roundabout, take the first exit towards Vaas, Le Lude, Noyant, Vernantes.
2 kilometers after Rabion hamlet, turn left to come by the woods of Vernoil (as there are huge work on the road between Vernantes and Vernoil)
Arrived at Vernoil, continue straight on the monument with the statue of 1rst world war memorial. There is a sign direction La Breille les pins, Brain sur Allonnes.

A big bourgeois house rented by the town is the corner and still hosts the nursery school (number 3), and the old school is at number 5, you will recognize its door and porch !
Coming from the south via the A85 motorway
Exit at Bourgueil, take direction St Nicolas de Bourgueil – Saumur. When you arrive in the village of St Nicolas de Bourgueil, at the first traffic light, turn right and follow the sign Vernantes Vernoil
You cross vineyards then woods 13 kms and you arrive at the village of Vernoil and see the church on your left, the old school is next!
Follow the street bayonet (parking on both sides alternating) to get to a cross street: the street of the center (!)
Take left and then left again just before the statue of war memorial of the war of 14. You pass in front of the church on the left then the priory and the hall on the right
The place du champ de foire opens to the right. So turn right and go a little on the number 5 : is right there.
Here you are. Push the door !
